The right sort of reality TV
For years now, reality TV has taken off, disgusting shows like Big Brother, Australian Idol, Americas got Talent have become a hit because there are no actors to pay, and people seem to watch it.
Recently there have been more and more shows airing on Ch7 and 9 that are much more interesting. These sort of shows include “Border Security”, “The Force - Behind the Line”, and a new show airing on Nine tonight, Fire 000.
Fire 000, as the title suggests is about the Fire rescue service. These shows are much more interesting, somewhat educational, trivial and just so much better than the rot like Big Brother!
Border Security I enjoy watching - it’s an interesting insight to see what goes on at Customs, what people try do, and what happens out there.
The Force aired on Ch 7 - and I enjoyed watching it as well for the same reasons. Basically just the behind the scenes of the police service and seeing what happens.
