Why I hate the TV Networks
Why do most people hate free-to-air TV networks? Well there are probably a million reasons, from too many crap ads, to crap tv (Gladiators, Home and Away, Biggest Fat person, etc) but one thing that REALLY annoys me, is the inconsistancey of programs.
For Example, lately I have been watching Two and A Half Men, on channel 9. Pretty good show, laugh here and there.. great. My 7pm timeslot now has something worth watching on TV. But for some reason, all of a sudden, Channel nine, goes from airing the season mid season 2, and plays the first episode, and starts from the begining.. While on a TV Torrent website, you’d see Two and a Half men are up to season 4 in the states.
I remember being a big fan of ALIAS on ch7, but they would be about 1 year behind on airing the shows, which everyone already knows (even though they are trying to catch up with “Fasttrack” or what ever it is called) but as you’d be watching on Ch7, this week we are watching episode 4, season 2. Now this week, Season 1 episode 9 comes on??!!!
It really annoys me and thinks less and less of it, and would rather invest in Austar or Foxtel.

Ben, while I agree free to air Tv has declined in quality over the last few years (in fact it’s crap).
Pay Tv is no better, first it was sold as being advert free. Now we are bombarded with adds!! As to shows, we have the same movies over and over and over again, often in the same day!!!
If you take Nature and History out, we have wall to wall crap.
I agree there is 10x as much crap on PayTV.. however, if you use the ratio on Free-to-air, there is 5 good shows out of 100.. then on PayTV, there is 600 shows, so there has to be a few more shows that are acceptable
