Hiatus

Well, it’s been very quite around this end of the interweb for the last month! It’s not that there wasn’t anything for me to Blog about, I’ve just been slack and enjoyed my time off over the christmas / new year break.

Tomorrow, Monday the 12th January is back to work and back to reality for me, and most people around the place. There are also those lucky people who still have another month of break before they head back to University or School.

Frankly 3 weeks is more than enough time off. I’m pumped and ready to get into 2009, which I think is going to be a huge year on so many levels.

What am I looking forward to?

  • Work, Work and more Work. I love what I do and I think this year is going to be bigger and better!
  • Fuel staying low as long as possible. I’m loving this whole fuel under a $1 a litre, aren’t you??
  • Changes in the USA. Let’s see if Barack Obama can truly live up to what he promised
  • Death to the Net Filter. Stephen Conroy needs to wake up and admit his Australian “Netfilter” is STUPID
  • A Change of Govt in Queensland. As much as I don’t like Springborg, I’m hoping the LNP will control the state
  • The property market slowly gaining momentum. I’d love to sell my property and move onto the next stage of my life
  • World Peace. Ha Ha.. Fooled you.. That’ll never happen!

Resolutions?

Not really… there are always the usual things, like “Blog more frequently”, or “Go the Gym more”,  ”eat healthy” and so forth. Maybe this year my resolution can be to make one next year… that’ll do for now!

2008?

  1. Ben,
I wish you well for the coming year. Now to your comments – I hope petrol prices go up, until we find another fuel source. What oil we have, we must make last and the best way to do that is increase the price.
As to your comment “I’m hoping the LNP will control the state”. In a democracy it should not be about “control”. Remember, government of the people,by the peole, for the people. Control is what dictators do.
The USA will only be saved by revolution, be it financial or physical.
World Peace; will only come following America’s revolution.
Ben, once again may you prosper in the coming year.
