If Rudd was Genuinely concerned with Roads, health, education and employment, instead of gallivanting about the world, I for one would have more respect for him.

Ben,
You appear to have missed the point, Labor weren’t in power by chance, they were elected. Pre 2nd war Menzies stood down to let Labor take over. It’s rather like stick and carrot, Labor for the tough times, conservatives for the fun. But you haven’t answered my question. What state of mind is Australia in right now?
