All Hail Prime Minister 2007

Australia has voted and we’ve elected a new Prime Minster and Governing Party. All hail the new Prime minister of Australia.

Kevin Rudd and his Party

I’m a Liberal / National supporter, however, in the closing weeks of the Election Howard did let himself, and the party down with the lack of Positive marketing, he did over use the scare tactics. There needed to be more positive advertising to counter-act the Labor advertising.

I, like many liberal / nationals supporters still believe that the country has been in good hand and smooth sailing for the last 11 years, growing from strength to strength.

Regardless of what I support, Kevin Rudd and the Labor party are now in power, with the great use of technology, Kevin Rudd will have the hardest time that any PM in Australia has had, due to the making of all these Election Promises that are stored online.

Let’s give it a couple of years, and see how we go with our Education Revolution and Broadband Revolution and so forth. See how small businesses are operating, and the interest rates lower than at the moment….kevin rudd, prime minister

Kevin, he’s got some work ahead of him…I’m quite interested in seeing him execute all these “Modern and Fresh Ideas” and not just election waffle.

One positive of the election, my local member, Paul Neville, for the Nationals has kept his seat, along with our next region, wide bay, which covers Sunshine Coast is still with Warren Truss and the Nationals.

Well Done to the Nationals on the two seats that mean something to me.

Australian Government, Hinkler, Kevin Rudd, Labor Party, Nationals

  1. Ben, Ben, Ben,
I don’t care who you support, but to condone “scare tactics”, please! A good leader does not have to scare his/her people. This man was the most divisive in Australia’s history.

  2. Jon, I just re-read my post and it may have looked like I did, but now it should be clear that I DID NOT support the scare tactics, there should have been a much better balance of Positive Advertising, etc.
