Advertising Yourself
Now Advertising is a funny thing.. there are millions of angles people run with advertising to get their desired result. Sex appeal, comedy, graphics, rhetorical questions all get the target market to respond in a certain way.. Correct? That’s the basics of advertising..

Below are two ads on the radio website - theradio.com.au, and they say the same slogans on air as well, so who are they really apealing to with this campaign? They aren’t promoting themselves very well…
“Better than a kick in the pants” and “Sick of listening to all your favorite songs? Want to hear two guys talking dribble while you drive home? Then The Benchwarmers is the show for you! Join Ant + Becks for a few hours of your life you’re going to want back.” are not really making me want to listen to any of these shows. Judge for yourself.
The presentors are fillers and most likely sitting up in Bundaberg studio. Cause Sea-fm is Aggregated radio service and can be broadcasting from Mars or the moon stuio
One point both of them were in the Maryborough Studio. But most of the presenters were in Bundy and So they moved it out of the Fraser coast studio.
The second problem with sea fm morning crew. Is they can’t keep personality very long and eventually move on
Station managers and Sea-fm heads can fire you unexpecting if your considered “Not funny” or entertaining
It comes back to talent, and you can pickup who don’t have talent in 5 seconds. The original Benchwarmers, I can’t remember their names, were actually not bad to listen to.. These two are just a pack of idiots and the peak of their comedy is fart jokes and the like.
When I listen to Jamie Dunn on Zinc96 - they are really funny!
I know what you mean about the SeaFM morning show, they have had so many presenters I can’t remember them all. I know that current New Zealand girl is terrible - when I flick onto SeaFM in the morning (hardly ever) I just listen to them for 2 minutes and they make me cringe!!
If they can be fired for not being funny, every single person on air should be sacked!
if I want to listen to 2 guys dribble on for 40mins I’d listen to the Widebay technology podcast
