Advertising Yourself

Now Advertising is a funny thing.. there are millions of angles people run with advertising to get their desired result. Sex appeal, comedy, graphics, rhetorical questions all get the target market to respond in a certain way.. Correct? That’s the basics of advertising..
Now if you read this blog, you’ll know that I’m not a fan of our [...]

The Local….. Experts

Today I went out for lunch, and picked up the local paper to see the headline “RUDE TUBE” and a screen shot of YouTube - well that sparked my interest. After skimming this petty attempt at relaying technology news, I was so frustrated at what I was reading, I had to continue to read on.
The story basically read, [...]

iPhone 3G’d

I’ve been a Telstra customer since I got my first CDMA prepaid mobile phone probably 9 or 10 years ago. To be honest, I really didn’t have any problems with my Telstra phone. I had reception anywhere and everywhere I needed it, and if I prepaid $30 here or there, it would last me the [...]

New Liberal Leadership.. About Time

Well it’s been a painful 9 months since the new Labour Federal Government won the election last year. It was a no brainer that Rudd and Labour would win. John Howard, although one of the best PM’s in Australian history (IMO), ran the Liberals right into the ground and dug quite deep. So far down [...]

You may only understand some of the jokes if you really do follow Web 2.0 websites.

Whether you write your own little blog your family reads or run a business online, everything is on the internet and you just don’t know who is reading it, or what they’re doing with it. Even having a MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook account can be rather detrimental to someone’s profile.
More and more businesses are Google’ing [...]

The Catholic Church Does it again

In an age where less and less people have time for the crazy demands of the Catholic Church, it seems that the Pope and the Vatican have thought of some even more crazy rules, even after the new sins they introduced, which included being rich (Ironic from the richest organisation in the world?)
The new forms [...]

3…. not so simple Questions

I’m normally not one stealing other peoples blog posts, and reposting it, but I found this on a blog I read, and it really makes you think, from a running-a-business-point-of-view

Do you have a market with a sufficiently unmet need?
(Can you articulate what that need is??)
Is the target market big enough to sustain your business and [...]
